The sector conducts Mid-Year evaluation in Adama

The Generation Operations sector of Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) held a mid-year evaluation meeting in Adama City to review its performance over the past six months and plan for upcoming operations.
The meeting gathered delegates from all of Ethiopia’s power generation plants, along with senior leadership from EEP.
The two-day evaluation meeting focused on a detailed review of sector’s performance during the first half of the 2017 Ethiopian Fiscal Year (EFY). Participants carefully assessed the successes and challenges faced, highlighting strengths and areas in need of improvement.
The discussions focused on improving current practices and creating more effective strategies to boost operational efficiency.
The forum offered a platform for diverse viewpoints, enabling delegates to share their insights and suggest solutions to the challenges identified. This collaborative approach sought to create a shared understanding of EEP’s generation operations and encourage collective efforts toward achieving its goals.
The mid-year review was attended by a diverse group of personnel from EEP’s various power plants. Notably, Mr. Eyayhu Hundessa, the executive officer of generation operations and Mr. Wale Tamire, in charge of Administrative Affairs at the CEO’s office, were present throughout the meeting.
