He spent more than three decades serving the nation; he was ambassador to the United States for five years, Minister of Trade & Industry as well as Economic Development & Cooperation. Previously, he was Chairman of the Board of Management of Ethiopian Electric power. He is economist by Profession.

Minister of Defense.
She spent two decades serving the nation; she was Minister of Irrigation and Low lands, Minster of Construction and Urban Development, Minister of Tourism and Culture. She is civil engineer by profession.

H.E. Eyob Tekalign (Phd)

Member of the Board of Management.
Governor of the National Bank of Ethiopia.
He spent two decades serving the nation. Previously, he was Minister in charge of Ethiopia’s National Planning Commission. He was State minister of Finance, and in various responsibilities within leading public, private, supranational, multinational, and academic institutions. He seats at several boards including the National Bank of Ethiopia, Ethiopian Investment Holdings(EIH), EthioTelecom and Ethiopian Electric Power( EEP). He also chairs a number of boards including Ethiopian Roads Authority( ERA), Accounting and Audit Board of Ethiopia( AABE) and Public Procurement Agency( PPA). His profession is economics.

Vice Governor and chief economist of the National Bank of Ethiopia. He spent more than two decades serving the nation and contributed to macroeconomic policy of Ethiopia. He is an economist.

Mr.Melaku Alebel

Minister of Industry of Ethiopia.
Previously, he was Minister of Trade and Industry, Vice President and Bureau Head of Industry and Investment of Amhara Regional State, Investment Commissioner of Amhara Regional State, and held various leadership roles in Amhara Regional State and the Federal Government.

He is the Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP). With a career spanning over 20 years within EEP, he has been instrumental in advancing Ethiopia’s energy landscape through the strategic development of large-scale hydropower, wind, and transmission infrastructure.
His journey from Lead Mechanical Engineer to CEO has provided him with a comprehensive, 360-degree view of the energy sector, balancing technical precision with high-level policy and construction management. He is deeply committed to driving sustainable energy solutions and modernizing national power grids to support Ethiopia’s long-term economic growth.

Mr. Teshome Belay (MA)
