The Adama I Wind Power Plant has successfully saved over 𝟳.𝟴 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗧𝗕 in operational costs over the past nine months by leveraging internal technical expertise for critical maintenance.

Plant Manager 𝗠𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗪/𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 noted that these milestones are a direct result of the facility’s strategic commitment to technology transfer and workforce empowerment.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀:

🔹 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆: By managing repairs of switchgears, switchyards, and communication controls in-house, the plant has significantly reduced reliance on external contractors.

🔹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴: Specialized maintenance of control cards, slip rings, and IGBT units has facilitated a robust transfer of skills to the next generation of engineers.

🔹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The facility is currently operating at 96% readiness, with 33 out of 34 turbines fully operational.

🔹 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: Total energy output reached 105.37 GWh, reflecting a 1.5% increase compared to the same period last year.

🔹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: The adoption of the Kaizen philosophy has modernized warehouse management, workshop efficiency, and occupational safety standards.
