Project Outcome

The project is located in the Abay – Chomen and Horro Woredas of Horo-Guduru Wollega Zone of the Oromia Regional State, Ethiopia. Its primary objective is to supply electricity to some parts of the East Wollega Zone, Horro Woreda and villages which can be reached by distribution lines from newly constructed substation. The project has 230kV single circuit, 30 km transmission line with double circuit tower. The substation is 230/33 kV with a capacity of 20/25MVA power transformer at Shambu town.
