Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) invites eligible consulting firms to submit Expressions of Interest for consultancy services supporting the OPGW Live-Line Extension Project. The assignment includes detailed engineering studies, environmental and social impact assessments, transmission line modeling, and supervision support for the installation of approximately 1,590 km Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) across multiple regions of Ethiopia.

The project, financed by Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the European Union (EU), aims to enhance transmission infrastructure reliability and communication capability using advanced live-line installation techniques. The consultancy service is expected to commence in June 2026 with an implementation period of 48 months.
