EEP organized communal meals for low-income employees.

During the occasion of Id al fatir, EEP hosted a meal for 36 female cleaning staff who are followers of Islam.

Engineer Ashebir Balcha, the Chief Executive Officer of EEP, along with Mr. Zadig Abraha, President of the African Leadership Excellence Academy (AFLEX), bestowed gifts upon these employees.

Abdela Shanko, Chairman of the Fundraising Committee, facilitated the initiative and informed that funds amounting to 173,260 birr had been collected over the past week for this specific purpose.

Out of this, 1,500 birr in cash and kind support was provided to the 36 female employees of Islamic faith.

The chairman emphasized the ongoing effort to collect funds to extend support to Christian followers for the upcoming Easter celebrations.

He urged all employees to actively participate in this charitable endeavor to fulfill their social responsibility.

The employees who received support expressed gratitude for the organization’s recognition and understanding of their difficult situations.
