The Ethiopian Electric Power Transmission and Substations Operation Sector has announced the successful restoration of power in Asosana and surrounding districts following the collapse of a high-power transmission line steel tower.

According to Ismail Muzein, Director of the Regions Coordination Department, the area has been restored with power since 2:50 p.m. today.

The director highlighted that the area was re-energized by implementing a technical alternative solution proposed by the experts.
