RAP DOCUMENT FOR DEBRE TABOR AND BOKOGY 230 KV TRANSMISSION LINE AND SUBSTATION PROJECT

Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) currently proposed to construct substation and transmission line to Debre Tabor and Bokogy. In view of the above, new 230kV transmission line from existing Bahir Dar-Alamata230kV line a line in and line out( LILO)” to the new Debre Tabor substation and  230 kV transmission line from existing Melka Wakena to Koka230KV line a LILO” to the new Bokogy substation will be constructed.

Accordingly, the feasibility studies for both Debere Tabor and Bokogy have been conducted 2017 G.C. while the RAP in 2018 GC. On the contrary, because of implementation delay of this RAP, the bank (WB) requested to update. As per bank request, this RAP has been revised and updated in 2021 G.C considering the  2019 updated  proclamation on expropriation of land holding, payment of compensation and resettlement by the Government of Ethiopia.
